North Texas Parent and Child Development, Inc.

Early Head Start

We are a non-profit organization empowering children and families through education. EHS provides early, continuous, intensive and comprehensive child development and family support services to low-income pregnant mothers, infants and toddlers of Wichita County at no cost to families.

Your financial contribution allows our program to provide child development services to over one hundred low income families each year. Thank you for your support!

Board of Directors

The Early Head Start Executive Director, staff, Board of Directors, and Policy Council share the resposibility of managing the Early Head Start program to meet North Texas Parent and Child Development, Inc. By-Laws and federal program requirements.

The current board members of the North Texas Parent and Child Development, Inc. are citizens in our community who feel strongly that providing children with an early childhood education program is the only responsible action to take. Volunteering many hours, the board members help guide and direct our program to benefit our community's neediest children.

As the main governing body, the board provides critical oversight and accountability for our institution. Our Board of Directors has many responsibilities; however, one of the major concerns is to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements that apply to our institution. One of the governing board’s critical roles is ensuring our organization’s accountability, as well as being apprised of its role in the management of the CACFP.
